How many devices can use VPNio at once?
VPNio advertises up to five simultaneous connections. Count connections that are in use, rather than assuming every installed app is a connected session.
What the five-connection allowance means
The allowance describes how many connections may be active at the same time. Installing the app and connecting to a VPN server are different actions. Your plan’s allowance appears in the pricing and service terms.
The terms allow installation on multiple compatible devices, with only the permitted number connected at once. They also prohibit giving, selling, or publishing your credentials to another person.
If another device cannot connect
Do not assume a login error proves the connection limit was reached. It can also require account or device support.
- Check your subscription in the VPNio account portal.
- Disconnect VPN sessions on devices you are not using.
- Retry on the device you want to use and note its exact message.
- If the problem remains, contact support with the device model and error message.
Questions to confirm with support
Ask support how your particular Android, OpenVPN, or router setup counts toward the allowance. This guide does not promise that a router uses one slot, that every device creates only one session, or how quickly a disconnected session is released.
The service terms say an existing session may disconnect when the limit is exceeded. The exact sixth-connection message and which session is affected are not documented here.
Need help with your account?
Use your VPNio account to check your subscription and access details, or contact support. Include the device model, operating system, and exact error message. Keep passwords, activation PINs, and full payment details out of screenshots and messages.
